    Brad,
I am on the list and can hardly wait. Would you be intrested in making me a pro kit for my 370Z if i got you some deminsions after I get my truck kit from you? You could post these for sale on My370z.com, these guys are as nuts about their cars as we are our trucks. I would be glad to send you pictures of my car with the lights being installed so that you could use them to help sell them. Just trying to help a young fellow ge his business going. I could pay for both kits at one time.

The kits are universal. They should work with 99% of vehicles. About the only vehicles they may not work with as configured are those with excessively large hoods (Lincolns, older big-nose american vehicles pre-1990's, and some SUVs or trucks), rear- or mid-engine vehicles with the battery in a location other than the engine bay, or those with remotely-mounted batteries. And in those cases, it's just a matter of running longer wire.
What I would recommend doing is wait until you get yours from the list, and before mounting it in you Taco, test-fit it in your Z. Then you'll have an idea if it'll work as configured, or if there are changes that need to be made.

    2 things:
    1) Those are great for very small loads that won't have the chance of stressing the OE wiring. The hood lights certainly fit that description. But remember the manufacturers size their fuse box wiring to the intended load.
    2) Way too complicated for the hood lighting kits, since the battery is so accessible, and the switch is right next to it. Ring terminals allow universal fit to any vehicle...the add-a-circuit requires a fusebox located near the switch. And don't forget you must also get access to the fusebox for the wiring, yet still keep it waterproof!

Hey that's a wonderful idea! Thank you for thinking of me and my small business. The kits are universal, however, I would like to know the dimensions to make sure the wire will fit. I'd love to add another vehicle to the list of cars these kits have worked on :D
We'll talk more about this when I PM ya :)

Political Science my friend. I'm still taking GE Classes though. only got a couple more semesters to go.

Not sure what classifies as a small load. My shop set up multiple circuits for extra radios and emergency equipment, usually not topping over 40 Amps potential. If set up correctly, the fuse tap draws current from the buss bar for whatever circuit is being tapped: Hot all the time, ignition, etc.

The potential for it to be complicated exists, for sure; and the guys on here do need to worry about water resistance more than the average police unit does. Power in the engine bay for off road enthusiasts is better to be gotten from the battery, and even better if tied into an auxiliary power box.

The fuse tap really shines when adding an ignition circuit in the cabin of the vehicle, but that doesn't really help folks that are installing hood lights...

Sending out 10 PM's to the next 10 PRO Kit orders including CHUX and the next 9 PRO Kit's after him on the list as soon as I can.
Unfortunately as I stated earlier I am swamped with work right now. If I may elaborate, On monday I have a final that I will fail a class If i don't get a B on it, 40% of my grade in the form of an essay assignment and career portfolio is due on monday night, and a class project worth 200 points or 1/3 of my grade is due wednesday. Thank you all for working with me here.
