    Some really cool shit
I finally got mine installed. Way easier to install than I figured. Only bummer is one of the lights doesn't work. But, with as many lights as there are on the string, it's not a big factor.

Dang I wish I knew about these kits before I kind of made my own. I spent more money and wont give any details or pics because I don't want to take away from the OP. I would like to ask what kind and where I can find a good adjustable pin switch from? any hyper links would be greatly appreciated because everytime I google it I cant find any. had to settle with a Chevy door light switch that isn't height adjustable and would like to have one to adjust the height. Mine is a tad to long/tall. If no one wants to give the info I understand but like I said before I do anymore mods I will def look on TW first!

Too much to list, but enough to get me in trouble. Repeatedly.
How long do you need it to be? Our new Jeep Light has a shorter LED strip, and might be just what you're looking for. Also includes a 90* bracket for the switch, which may help with mounting options.

As to your question: The LED strips can be shortened only at certain locations, which are every 3 LED chips, or about every 2 inches. If you have one of our Lights, you will see the area to cut if you look it over: there should be 2 or 4 copper ovals or dots every 3 chips......cut across the middle of those dots/ovals.

Cutting anywhere other than those locations will interrupt a complete circuit and cause problems upstream of the cut (unlit chips, possible overheating, etc.).

FINALLY got mine installed. Was a pain getting the wires inside the braided loom fished through the little hole in the bottom corner of the hood but definitely worth it!

Looks great. I will be installing my Redline struts this weekend and am on the waiting list for the lights. Did you use rivets on both top and bottom or just the top?

Just the top. I considered it for the bottom brackets, but couldn't find rivets in packs of less than 100. I have no need for that many rivets...

I bet. I'm not rushing just wanted to know so i don't get skipped or anything. I've had my hood struts for a week now and haven't installed them yet. So i might just wait and do both the same day.

I wouldn't wait They're both a 20 minute install. Even being totally anal about everything (wiring and measuring), you're looking at an hour to an hour and a half tops to install the struts and lights. Probably a 1-2 beer job.
