If it was an option on all trims: Hood scoop or No Scoop

Non functional thing is non functional. For the same money I can (and did) get a locker that I actually use.

I liked it on the 2nd gen, but the 3rd not so much. Still looks good though, it's all personal preference. My only experience with a hood scoop was on my STi. Was a little distracting, but at least it was functional

    I don't have it.

I think they look badass, but I wanted the OR features more. It also makes seeing over the hood that much more difficult since it now has a hood scoop bulge.

That said, if the OR had that as an option I might be driving around nonfunctionally scooping tons of air right now.

I had told myself lately that if I bought a Tacoma it would have a hood scoop. Now that I have one...It kinda messes with driver view.

Don't like the ones on the 16's. Too big. Like the rest of the truck.

Like the look on the 2nd gen, but don't like it being non functional.

Like the Hilux where it IS functional, with a intercooler lying on top of the engine right under the scoop. For the factory turbo. Diesel.

Of course this is in a 3rd world country were diesel is cheaper than gas. As it is in most places outside of the US.

I don't have a scoop, but would like one (the ricer inside me cannot resist!). Despite it being non-functional, it does look pretty cool

What year and color do you have Old Tundra Guy?

    I have a 2016 Blazing Blue Non-scoop I'd swap out with you.

    None, but willing to learn.
IMO a hood scoop should be functional and look like this:

    And look like this underneath:

I'll be happy to trade my new flat hood in black for a new black ugly scoop hoop with any member out there where we can work out the swap. and I don't mind driving.
