Hood scoop top cover (buldge)

I might need to replace mine due to OCD.
Since the OEM is painted black, can I order a black painted one? or all come as black plastic and needs to be painted?

 

Dacon, if you need it painted I have a great guy that can do it for you. You could just drop it off, have him paint it, and then pick it up. He does great work and is cheap. matches colors perfect. Been using him for years.

Someone hit the bumper of my 16 inferno with something and marred up the paint. Took it to him and he made it disappear. Matched the paint perfect. PM me if you are interested.

 

Vinyl wrap it...shouldn't cost more than $50 for a local shop to do it.

 

Actually, it looks like it comes painted. I think this may be the part. You just need to order the correct part number for the correct color.

They do not come painted when you order from the parts counter.

I have removed my scoop yesterday since I have seen a few honey makers flying in and out of the grille and not happy with a hive in there.
Found the tabs where the screws go in broken (from factory) and also the orange plunger bent. Might order a new one. Was hoping to find a painted one from the supplier but looks like all come in bare black plastic unless somebody has a different part number for painted one.

 

Have checked the part number and called two sellers. All come plain black plastic for end user to paint them as desired.
