Had some trouble with oil canning on corners, hopefully the paint and body guy can work it out for me

This is at the body shop
I did not paint it myself

Also, I had some oil canning and the body man had to cut reliefs on the corners and re-weld to fix it.

Not sure how much bondo feathering he had to do.

The method with the round corners and flange method is the better way to go.

Unfortunately It would cost me $1000 just to make them. You can get a Fiberglass one for $500 and pay someone to paint

That’s about what it cost for mine, It was 1000.00 give or take parts labor, not cheap if you want it done right and you do all the leg work.
@Rldanie is coming alone really nicely,
Can’t wait to see it back on his truck and ours trucks side by side,
