Btw, you fellow "self hood swappers"... you all have tips for selling your original flat hood? Mine is virtually flawless (MGM color)... listed it on FB Market and eBay. I thought about calling local semi small Toyota dealership (they, surprisingly, have body shop wing) to see if they'd be interested... but I figure they would low ball?

Autograph the corner using a sharpie and hang it over your bar, like it was a racing trophy. Tell your friends that it once belonged to the winner of the MallCrawler 500.

    Savvy!
Except I see way more dirt roads and prairie trails than Mall parking lots (despite the hoods excellent condition). Yeah, the grille guard is NOT for looks (but It's a nice looking one, as a lotta ugly out there when you look for attached grille guards) . Deer are real hazard. Last 4 vehicles - two did not have grille guards, 3 guesses which two hit deer? ;)

Nothing like adding a pro stock style hood scoop in looking to gain attention.

It's bad enough I have the following items left over from upgrades:

    Air Dam
    Sport OEM Skid Plate
    OEM Headlights
    OEM Shift Knob
    OEM Side Mirror Turn Lights

What the heck? Where would I even begin to store a replaced hood?

I didn't consider an Off-Road so I'll never know. (Whew!)

Ahh, there it predictably is. But several hours late on scoop trashing. But better late than never, right.

    A few.
I thought about buying the sport hood and havent it painted. I just didnt want to be stuck with the current flat hood afterwards. They dont seem to be very easy to sell.

    Yep, assumed risk.
Had a guy near me, who's wife is short and HATES looking over the scoop. Wanted to trade me an orange scooped hood for my flat MGM hood. But the deal w/ body shop was already completed.
So, I need another short wife who hates the scoop even more on their MGM Pro or Sport. I'd be the key to that lock, for a reasonable price ;)
