Hey I’ve got a 2003 v6 trd Tacoma and my hood is all beat up anyway and I was wondering if anybody has put a hood exit exhaust on a first gen Tacoma or if it’s even possible? Tia

Everything is possible with money. Would I advise this? no, but you do you lol. Be ready for the shitstorm of people clowning because you have a hood stack with a v6 lol. I can't say much because I have a glasspack with my 4 cyl

Just build heads so they can exit out that way, cut a hole in your hood to line it up, and send it if that's your preference

I ain’t worried about what other people think lol. It’s already pretty loud with it cut off under the cab and do you know if you can flip the manifolds on these?

This is one of those mods you don't ask "has anybody done this?" you DO IT and set the trend then from here on out you can be like "that was my idea".

Go for it, just keep it away from your snorkel, don't want that thing melting.

Please post pics before and after.

Which do you think would be better? Run flex pipe from the y in the pipe to the hood or flip the headers if that’s possible?

    2.5" lift w/35's
Just make sure to never roll your windows down or you'll risk letting fresh air into the cab and lowering your exhaust backpressure

I wouldn't do that. I went to school with a girl who did that and it turned her hair green.

Do that and cross a couple plug wires and people will think it's got a 12 valve in it.

Good point. Ill jut put a gas can in the cab so the exhaust pressure will force more fuel into the engine for more power.

    Pics of said chick.

Louder than hell and slower than molasses is such a bad combination.
