Does anybody know how big the pipe is when the headers come together? I’m thinking about running a flex pipe from there straight back up to the hood. Any reason that wouldn’t be alright that you guys know of?

    I think it's like 2-2.5".

I guess I'm just not sure what you expect to get out of this. These japanese v6's sound bad enough with a glass pack muffler, and I've heard what they sound like with no muffler: absolute shit.

It's like an asthmatic dog gargling toothpaste, only loud.

It would be much easier to go fender exit exhaust !!

there isnt alot of space to 180 the exhaust back up by the firewall. my 3" downpipe is tight enough by itself. its 2.25" pipe though if you decide to do it. i was thinking about doing a 90 off my turbo and going through the hood. dont want snow and rain getting in tho

out the fender reverse snorkel style... or you could put a pro street cowl for the hood and run pipe off the manifold over the frame rails to side pipes. In any case I'd roadkill rotsun a powerstroke turbo through the hood if you *must* have a hater pipe.
