So I was driving across parts of Wyoming and Nebraska this weekend. While I was driving I would notice that at speed if a gust of wind came up my hood would wobble. Just like it was trying to come off and the only thing holding it down was the little center ring.

Does anyone know if the Redline Tuning Hood Struts would help out on this hood wobble? Do they add any stability?

Nope but you should be able to adjust the hood to stop that wobble

Great question, I have them on mine but have never experienced the wind you speak of, I'd have to say that even if they did not help, your still winning and not losing any money as these things are great.

I do notice that when I release my hood from inside the cab that the gas shocks definitely are trying to push up, but the latch is preventing that as its supposed to, so I'm guessing that there is a load being pushed up on the hood, which may give your scenario a lot of help

    Hope that helps a little

Mine used to bounce around on the highway too. Cranked the stops out a little bit and has been fine since.
