YOU WILL BE MISSED Satoshi Grill, FX-R retros, husky liners, bed bolt d-rings, TRD short throw shifter, 2.5 Fox Coil overs, AP UCA's, AP Expo rear leaf with Fox 2.0 shocks, Extended SS brake lines, AP kick-out sliders, 265/75/16 on Konig Countersteers, AllPro Apex front bumper and Zip Ties.
I just got a set of the JP Metal Fab "Hook Ups" to compensate for the poor stock options and I am very pleased. I snapped some shots for a close up of the quality components and the simple install.:D

It starts with a pair of these:

Next will be the D-rings for the bed and I will be all set to secure any load.

I need to stop procrastinating and order myself a set of these already.

Also how hard is it to install an extra set of D-rings in the front of the bed and any idea on how much they run, would my bedmat be in the way?

I did something close to that with good ole Unistrut.
The handymans second secret weapon :D

This was on the 09 I have it on the 10 truck now with a bit better mount, double bolts holding the corners like the OP.

It looks like you replaced all the track with unistrut? I have been tempted but have never got around to do it. How hard was it?

    Yes I did,
I used 7/8" stuff with the holes.
Of course the holes did not line up so I had to drill a hole or 2 and open up a couple to make it fit.

I have a good selection of strut nuts and brackets so I can do all kinds of things with it.
I took apart a stock bed cleat and am in the process of finding a way to adapt it to the wider strut.

I made up a couple D-ring holders for the ends by the tailgate.
I will get some pics on the new truck.
The different ways to use this stuff is great.

Back to square one after the 2001. So...
That is a sweet idea. I was looking at some of the load rails available out there to stick in my 1st gen (which just has the standard loop in each corner, nothing like the 2nd gen rails), and they aren't cheap. I might need to look into this unistrut idea...after I finish my suspension...
