Idk. Now that I reread the post, I'm a bit confused about the situation.

Your missing the back peice, the whole thing, right? I don't understand why they brought up just cutting the gap for the antenna. I thought that was a problem for another commentator on this thread.

If he is talking about the whole peice I would be inclined to seek a full refund or AT LEAST $200 back. You'll have to pay for the metal, paint, and your time.

you could get away without that piece. I did for a bit and you really can't tell or lose much rigidity. The last crossbar on the rack is right next to where the plate is anyway.

I didn't put mine on for a few weeks and you really cant tell.

Yeah mines no where close to hitting my antenna. I highly doubt they will do a full refund but we will see. I’ll let you know the outcome.

Then again... I paid full price and hacked 10in off of the back of it on my own intention...

Maybe I'm not the one to ask lol

But, here is a pick of before I was able to fit the back panel back on. Like I said, adverage Joe wont notice.

I'd want around $50-$75, about a half hour of labor at a shop.

You can change you shark fin to a low profile style. I've seen them here on TW for sale. I'd ask for compensation but you dont have to cut your rack if you dont want to.

I think you missed my main post lol. They didn’t send the very back piece. I don’t have a shark fin I have the really low stubby one. And I have plenty of room for that.

Maybe heavy isn’t the right word :notsure:
More awkward to keep it from slamming down on the roof on the passenger side.

Got a tracking label this morning with a 68lb package being delivered Monday. So I guess a new rack is coming.

Yep. Now hopefully I’ll have my faux prinsu cap rack will be done by then lol. I feel like I’ve been building it for ever and honestly just started last night after everything arrived.

Has anyone tried buying this roof rack and then buying the prinsu wind deflector with the LED light bar cutout and mounting it? I looked at numerous pics to compare .only difference I can see is on some pics it look like it might match up. And in others it looks like I might have to drill new holes

Pretty sure widths are different. Probably will have to be trimmed down as I believe the prinsu is wider but I may be wrong

Any one know the size of the 8 bolts that screw to the roof? I bought the rack used for cheap but it's missing those bolts. Just need the size and I'll try and find them at home depot.
