Hooking Up Back Up Camera

Hello Everyone Ive looked through multiple Threads hoping to figure out how to wire up an after market camera to the stock wiring and stock camera mirror display with no luck. It seems most people are trying to wire up the factory camera to aftermarket head unit. Im sorry if im being redundant but I feel like ive searched everywhere with no luck. Any help would be appreciated. I think I figured out the stock wiring. Red and white are both video, Black is power, and blue is ground, Can anyone confirm if this is right? As far as the camera wiring im a bit lost. On one end I have the power with a black and red cable and on the other I spliced the Video cable revealing yellow, red, and black. Also along with the video there is a orange (trigger) wire that supposed to be hooked up to trigger the image when in reverse. I might be over thinking this but any help is appreciate.

Not sure I fully understand. You have a factory rear view mirror with display, and factory wiring, but no factory camera?

What wires are the "stock wiring"?

My aftermarket camera with rear view mirror had four wires.

Power Contastant
AC Power
Ground
Reverse Trigger

 

Yes sorry for the confusion I have an ARE campershell that required removal of tailgate. So I had a factory camera hooked up with display in rear view mirror. I’m just trying to add a aftermarket camera to the factory wiring so it displays on my rear view mirror again

 

I bought the harness so I wouldn’t have to splice anything and so I could add my tailgate when ever needed

 

Pictures of the wire ends don't really help. Photos of the "harness" as a whole and photos of the "aftermarket camera" as a whole would help. Can't really tell where you're ends are heading.
