Hooking up iPod to 2013 stock stereo

    2013 Tacoma. Stock sound system, I have my iPhone connected via Bluetooth. Question is do I need to do anything special to connect an iPod? Just plug it in the USB outlet and I can use it? or is there more involved? Should Bluetooth be on or off? Etc..
