Hooks for outside of cap

    I'm looking for some hooks for the outside of my cap. I'm want to use them to hoist the cap up in my garage. I don't like the 2x4 method where the cap lays across the bottom.

    This isn't my truck but you can see the slight overhang in the photo.

    I made this in Fusion360 to help describe what I think it would look like. The idea, is that they would grab under that overhang.

    I would prefer not to make some myself. I'm hoping they already exist.

    i'd be a'skeert ta do something like that with fiberglass. i guess it's not much different than putting the weight on a few 2x4s though.

    What about eye bolts in the roof rails? That area is already engineered to take a load like that.

    I lift mine off by attaching to the roof rack.

    I don't have roof rails on mine. I considered bolting something on but I'll try this first. I found these for $12. I think I can make them work without damaging anything. If this doesn't work, I may start drilling.
