Hoping my axle isn’t bent...

    So long story short was off roading in lake wash ,very sandy. Dodged rock with front of the car but rear slipped back into the sand tracks made by buddy in front of me and back right tire kissed the rock. Coming back from Joshua tree my buddy noticed I was crab walking. Took it to alligment and got the numbers(will post pic). By the looks of it my ubolts flattened the retainer flanges on the top plate plus maybe bent centering pin and bolts. Took it to the to a body shop and they checked drive shaft for wobbles but look normal. Even swapped wheels to eliminate bent rim. Already ordered ubolt flip kit to fix one of the issues. Anyone got any ideas where which points I can measure to confirm axle housing is bent or not.

    I would go from two known points you can get a reference and compare side to side. A differential mounting stud to axle flange maybe.

    You may be able to loosen the u-bolts and rotate the axle a little, the alignment pins aren't usually a press fit and have a tad of wiggle room.

    Given these rear toe measurements the rear axle is bent a little, you are toed out 1.22* should be pretty close to zero ----1.22* is pretty close to .6"
    You should be able to loosen the u-bolts & move it some like Creed said Take the axle as far forward on the right & as far back on the left you can get it then drive it with someone behind you to see if still dog tracking, listen for bearing noise & if none you may be able to get by with it.

    With that amount of toe out, the housing is definitely bent and will wear out your rear tires fast.

    Thrust angle is the alignment of the axle, total toe is basically how straight your axle is.
    If that alignment is accurate your axle is toast. Total toe has nothing to do with ubolts or alignment of the axle lucky for you can find a housing super cheap at wrecking yards. Also I have aligned hundreds of these trucks usually total toe is around .08-.20 on tacos according to our hunter alignment rack

    Well currently I am dog dragging but there is no bearing noise, any leaks, and the wheel does not wobble. What I am confused about is how is my axle shaft is not bent but my axle housing is bent.

    Yea you can see it dog tracking by the alignment sheet you printed.
    Sometimes they slip where the tube presses in to the housing or they just bend, more often then not it does bend an axle but it sounds like yours did not.
    Look real close where the tube goes in & see if there is any rust line where it slipped if so it "could be possible" to move it back & tack weld it but will require some equipment like a frame machine.
    If there is no noise and axles are true you may be able to correct the dog tracking by just loosening the U-bolts & moving the diff but there will be tire wear and probably eventually bearing wear but it may get you by for awhile.
    End result is you will need to replace the rear end eventually if it can't be straightened, find a rear diff assy. in a wrecking yard but make sure it wasn't in a rear end accident, good luck.

    By tube you mean the axle shaft into the housing ? I’m planning on doing the new ubolts and flip kit this Thursday but I’m afraid if I take the shaft out and it is bent I won’t be able to put it back in. I live in apartments and I usually do all my work in the parking spot across from my garage cause the truck barely fits in the garage.

    No the tube is part of the housing, it is what the axle shaft goes into.

    Little update, axle was bent. Replaced it with a certified one from a yard off a 15 prerunner. Unfortunately my alligment is still off in the rear but only by .18 degrees instead of the .74 degrees. So far I’ve replaced brackets for leafs with a flip kit and the axle. Anyone got any other ideas before I take it to the frame shop? Could it be a bent centering pin on the side where I flattened the leaf pack bracket?
