Horn honks when starting engine

i had same problem and it looks like i accidentally unplugged the ( KARR ) alarm wire with my foot located under steering wheel left side

Bought a 2006 Tacoma Crew Pre-Runner in really good shape with almost 300k miles!!! Bought This truck for my 16 year old son... So far so good we’ll see.
Was doing the quick two honks on start up. Unplugged the T-wire splice talked about above. Seems to work...stopped the honk on start up and all functions well. Hope that’s it!!! Thanks!!!

toyota in athens Ga just performed 2 open recalls on it today...New clock spring in steering wheel and New leaf springs in the rear!

Feel like I'm trying to raise the dead here. Thanks Djc89 for the post nearly ten years ago. Just picked up a new to me 2019 Tacoma TRD Off-Road today and it apparently has this problem. My wires were red/yellow but same result. Didn't even have to cut anything, had a nice connector I just unhooked. Still having it checked out but nice to not be honking at everyone everytime I start it up.
