Hey guys I just ordered a custom horn for my 13 tacoma. I was just wondering if you had any tips for me, there's a lot of "stuff" under the hood and I don't exactly know where to start. Would it be easier to take it to someone who knows what they're doing or could I do it on my own. I'd hate to pay for that but I'd hate to mess something up. Thanks guys

It should come with some sort of install instructions I would imagine. Definitely go for it. It's probably just connecting 2-4 wires and fastening the new horn in place.

Depends on the horn. My 07 factory horn circuit didn't have enough juice to work my air horns, so I turned it into the control circuit for a relay which allows enough power for em to hit.

I just installed some Hella Supertone horns with good results. They were $60 from 4 Wheel Parts. You have to make a small wiring harness for them but they do include a relay to use. I used 16 gauge wire for everything. They bolt on to the same two bolts that your factory horns are mounted to.

I have two Wolo Bull horns behind the grill. They're pretty loud. Had my nephew wire them up.

Klein Model 220. Dual trumpet. Have them mounted almost directly under the driver seat. Not too bad inside the truck, but loud as **** outside.
