Horn Issue on a 10'

    For about a month now when I hit the horn it sounds like a child's toy or sick bird Ive checked the connections they seem ok plus if that was the issue wouldn't they not work at all? anyone else ever have this issue?:confused:

    The element might be messed up. Are the covers off of the horn by chance?

    Sounds like a weak electrical connection. Try jumpering the battery directly to the horns. Check the ground side too, it carries as much current as the positive.

    One horn has a high pitched sound and the other has a deeper sound. My guess is that your having issues with your deep sounding horn. Probably ground related...

    Try switching plugs on both horns. If the sound changes, its wiring related and if it doesn't, its the ground or the horn itself.

    Might have got water in them at one time. Tap on the side of the housing with a handle end of a screw driver a few times.

    So I order a set of PIAA super bass horns to replace stock these things are wicked loud.. better than a air horn prob not as good as a train kit but way cheaper at around 50 on Amazon
