Horn Missing Its Wiring

    Bought this used 1st gen Tacoma and discovered horn doesn’t work. Pulled the grill and when I accessed the connector I learned there was no wire running to it - and no loose wires anywhere in the vicinity.

    I assume the wire would be in the only wiring conduit I see which snakes along the top of the radiator support and is shown in this pic with front right headlight wire breaking out of it?

    Thought I’d check here before I start breaking open 26 year old plastic hunting for current with my multimeter etc.

    And yeah, I’m getting to that washer fluid reserve tank next ;)

    Keep looking for that wire. I find the horn wires hard to locate on that side. I don't see any reason the horn wires would end up back into the loom. It is possible they were yanked (somehow) from the plug.

    All I can tell is it will be a black wire, with a single pin connector.

    Yep that was it- with the help of a tone generator I found that second loom was hiding below the passenger headlight assembly- thanks all!
