    I am happy with the Detroit True Trac's performance, it works well with the limited slip the truck alrwady has. When I regeared my truck to 4.56 thru ECGS, it was like a 500$ option. I swapped the 3rd member and clamshell out myself to keep cost down, wasn't difficult just took me 16 hours total (solo).

    just to give an update and close this out, I did replace the clock spring and it works now. Instead of paying the stealership $700, did it all for $200 combined. Thanks everyone for helping out and sharing.
