Recently had steering wheel controls added for Panasonic head unit, a few days later I noticed my horn is no longer working. I suspect that it is related but not certain? Would appreciate any input. Thanks

Or the ground wire was unplugged behind the steering wheel at the very bottom of the Spiral cable ( clock spring).

If it is the clockspring you can always relocate the non functional section of the ribbon to a part that still works. It involves depinning the clockspring connector and relocating it to a different pin and doing the same to it's mating connector. I did it to mine years ago and never had a problem with it after the relocate.

If you could translate that to English or pictures for simple minds like mine, I'd have a very big smile followed by a determined furrowed brow

It is a multi conductor cables with several spares. Move the broken wire function to an unused good wire.

Since your horn was working after the SW controls install, I would confirm 12V at the horn connectors before tearing apart the steering wheel. Check for voltage with someone holding down the horn button. If there's 12V, confirm a faulty horn by hooking directly to battery. If there's no 12V, then start by checking the horn fuse and swapping the horn relay for a similar relay in the engine bay fuse block. If still doesn't work, then I would look into the clockspring.
