    Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any horn upgrade recommendations? I'll honk my wimpy horn and others don't even notice me... I'm looking for something more powerful than the stock horn, but nothing over the top like a train horn. Is there a solid middle ground out there? I'd like people to be aware of me, but not have a heart attack. Thanks

I went for the Piaa superior bass horn, I like it. There’s examples on YouTube

Why would anyone want to upgrade the horn in these gen3 tacoma's unless its to make it quieter.

Does your truck have one or two stock horns? If it has just one, you can add a second high-note horn to make it louder.

The horn in my 2020 tacoma is just as loud as the tundra i had. It sounds exactly the same.

    Stock, 4WD, Access Cab, White,
Find a land yacht from the '70s. Most of the GM products had a 4 tone horn system.

I think PIAA has compatible horns with 4 tones; 330, 400, 500 and 600 Hz.

A lot of people install Hella Horns they are louder than stock but not super obnoxious.

If you have on board air, you don't have to settle for a quiet old train horn.....

You can fit a ship's horn in front of the grill.

Only aesthetic mods so far Leer 180 cap & Clazzio covers on order.
Don't mean to hijack this thread, but it's related:
Has anyone figured out a push button mounted on the shift lever for a 2nd horn?
There are times when discreet is appropriate (the stock horn).
BUT THEN there are other times when obnoxious is more appropriate (LOUD!).

Beat me to it. The Meso setup will need a relay most likely. I suppose it *might* handle the current for a horn, but I’d do a relay.

And maybe OP would like the horn in your Tundra to be louder as well.

Not enough bandwidth on the internet to list.
    Stebel Nautilus.

Small, compact, air horn with it's own compact compressor. Small enough that I've been running one on my Yamaha FJR Sport Tour moto for years. It's very loud and comes quite unexpectedly from a motorcycle! It's much louder than any OEM horn I've heard on a truck. They're pretty cheap to buy, too.
