I thought that if you move the rear cam to get caster and THEN move the front it would cancel eachother out ?

Why the hell wouldn't they just fix the camber right then? Changing tires doesn't change the alignment.

It does, but not at a 1:1 ratio. Hard to explain, but you will sacrifice a bit one way or another. The positions of each point on the LCA dictates what gets changed the most. The rear cam adjusts caster more than camber because of its position while the front cam adjusts camber more than caster.

Exactly!!!!! Cause now I can't even turn with my new tires cause the caster is so bad...drives like shit too.

I was about to buy new spindles thinking these were bent

Both of them adjust caster and camber at the same time. There isn't one which specifically adjust caster and the other camber.

Check your spindles, they may be bent. Hopefully that's all that it is. Otherwise, frame.

This is true, BUT one does adjust MORE than the other.

Regardless of anything, the current position of the cams indicate there is room to align it properly. Unless shit is twisted up like a pretzel you'll be ok.

The spindles look fine...I know the truck did have more caster before I replaced the lca because the tires didn't rub and it drove great...it also didn't have negative camber

You might want to make a very solid look at your suspension or have a third party inspect it. You may still have something bent.

It's possible I guess...I feel like if the frame was bent then my front bumper would not have lined up properly. I replaced everything besides the spindle

    Yeah, at minimum.

Did you go to a different shop instead of the same one?

Did you reposition the cams and then go to a shop?

I was physically in the shop playing with the cams and watching the alignment machine...I can't beleieve it. I ended up with 1.1 caster...but I had to turn the cams opposite to get there....as in my tires rub worse lol
