    I totally understand what you're saying and I agree completely. Mostly I was saying it to summarize what he'd told me. He also said pretty much the same thing that because of the cost of turning the old rotor and buying a new one that I might as well buy a new one.

    Many years ago I worked in a automotive machine shop disk brakes were just starting to become common place. We had a shop yep a real repair shop bring me a rotor to turn it had no face on one side cut right down to the vent fins.
