A new bolt here, a new bolt there, a new bolt everywhere.
StopTech 6 piston brakes, bed sides, wheels, tires, 16" triple bypass shocks, Factory fender, factory bumper, Stainless steel grill, trd shift knob, switch between pro, Baja squadron pros, baja ONX6 Racing edition, RC X5 50" curved light bar, Smittybilt x20 12k lb winch, running boards. I might be missing something here and there I'd have to go to the storage lot to make sure. Most of the stuff has been spoken for already. Once the dust settles I will be making on the list with what I have left for sale.

...^^^... Be glad the insurance company totaled it ... no matter how good the body shop was ... it would have never been the same.

Sounds like a good insurance company ... just curious ... which insurance company did the estimate and will write the original check to you ??

Your present truck was good looking ... good luck picking out a new ride.

I was stuck between a Local Motors Rally Fighter, a Land Rover Defender 110, a Tesla Model S P100D, a Faraday FF91, or a Jeep with a Hellcat engine. Don't know I was looking at a few FJ40 as well. I have come to realize that I have a very expensive taste.

Do not get the Defender.. it's not anywhere near the top of its class in any comparision. Luxury, comfort, power, speed, offroad capability, ammenities.. IT IS a FUN vehicle. But I doubt it will fulfill that hole in your garage that's now missing. I had one issued to me for 6 months.. it was a love hate relationship... just my .02.

Yeah, I heard the same from a few people that own one. I still haven't had a chance to drive one around.

If he sent it to me it would be the same :D
When the new Vipers came out we had a customer wreck one and it needed a new frame (usually totals the car but it still had under 2k) we swapped frame and replaced air bags came out great. To get the frame we actually had to work with the factory and get one off the assembly line that was supposed to be for another car not fixing one lol. We shouldve done a time lapse so see one frame just sitting on the ground and the car being rebuilt. But ive never heard of them not letting you buy it back....

What about a Tundra? Sounds like you have the coins so a S/C tundra with LT would be cool.

Seems kinda backwards.. Less aftermarket parts and slower since OP was building a long travel Tacoma. Butt a diesel is pretty cool if you can get over the fact that its slow.

I test drove a 16 Colorado Duramax, it actually shifted smoother and felt better (throttle more responsive) than the Tacoma just likely because the low end torque is there. If the interior was nicer I'd probably have traded right then and there. ZR2 is going to get some looks.

Sorry to hear it was totaled, but at least the wife is approving new mods.

While beautiful, it'd be stolen in under a week.
