oof hurts to see that damage on one of my favorite builds but that held up pretty darn well compared to the f150. find the american flag thin blue line ironic since they were at fault and drunk

Pretty new truck, even though airbags are expensive it might not be a write off if the frame isn't damaged.

Thing is all the mods etc. Not sure insurance would cover the bumper, likely just give you a factory one.
I'd say look into a buy back if they write it off, and just make sure it isn't branded. Usually they don't get branded if its just cosmetic.

Hell either way I'd be looking for a buy back. You could get a lot for the parts. Would be bullshit for insurance to take it and then part it out.

seriously at this point I'd sue. I'm not usually one for doing so, but I'm getting so fucking sick of drunk drivers.
Especially here. Its getting out of control. Every month we have people killing someone because of drunk driving. About a year ago was a pretty significant one. Some rich cunt came back from his bachelor party in vegas, got off the plane drunk and drove his SRT jeep into a minivan killing 3 little kids, and their grandfather. Few weeks ago another 23 year old killed 2 of his friends when he crashed his parents BMW. two months ago again another rich 21 year old cunt driving mommy and daddy's range rover rolled it and killer her 22 year old friend.

Every weekend there's at least 15 arrest made in the city for drunk driving and at least 3 accidents, luckily not usually involving death. Regardless its the most ignorant careless thing someone can do. If you're that much of a piece of shit you deserve to lose everything you own if you're lucky enough to survive whatever accident you cause.

Sorry to hear about your truck! In a similar event, and on a more positive note. My Corolla was totalled while parked on the side of the road while I was bbq'ing outside. The payout was plentyful to finally have a down payment on my dream truck. It's been a crazy holiday season. Wish you the best!

Looks totaled to me. Hopefully you have video or a witness to them backing out into you. People loose all morality when involved in an accident, and they will make up all kinds of lies. You could be left holding the bag, if they claim they were traveling forward and you rear-ended them. When I have an accident, I get out of the car taking pictures and looking for witnesses. Good luck. Bad ass rig going to truck heaven.

greatest investment you can make. No he said she said bullshit. Video proof.

Last year when I was rear ended douche bag told me it was his fault. After going through insurance they tell me he was saying I cut him off and slammed on my brakes. I just sent them video of it showing I never changed lanes that I was in the right lane heading for the on ramp for 8KM before the dumb ass rear ended me. Otherwise could've been at fault or at least 50/50, but this way nope was fully on him. Nothing that could make it my fault. Video showed I never braked suddenly or anything I was merely slowing down for the approaching curve of the on ramp coming up since all the traffic ahead did as well. It was icy and he was too close and hit me.

100% agree. I had a guy back into me going under 5mph, as he was pulling out of a parking spot. I was sitting still, laying on my horn the whole time. It did $600 in damage to my front bumper. He claimed I hit him, and his wife flopped, complaining of neck pain. I had pics, and a witness. His insurance adjuster and I had a good laugh.

same shit happened to my brother in law. He was t boned by someone backing up, then the wife tried to say it was his fault and sue for back pain.

Brother in law laughed and the insurance adjuster had a nice laugh too.
Since a witness was an off duty firefighter haha

Not to sore just a small cloth burn to my arm from the side seat air bag going off. Other than that I am good. Just spoke with my attorney and he said the insurance said from what the damage sounds like they will fix the truck exactly they way it was before the wreck, that's assuming that the adjuster doesn't find frame damage when the truck is lifted.
