My tacoma 2.7 l was low on gas the other day, the tank was completely empty and without knowing the tank was completely empty i thought it had a little left to drive to the gas station. I hit the ignition and no start =/(I think all that junk from inside my gas tank went in the fuel line) . the tacoma now has a low idling problem. And sometimes it even stalls.

Any help is very appreciated :)

Try a really good concentrated fuel injector cleaner. It may clean it up a bit.

after you run some cleaner thru it, take it out for a blast for an hour or so. run it hard and then see if it is better.

If that happened to me (and it has) I would go with a new filter. You probably sucked up the dirt marbles in the tank and plugged off your filter.

I would also put some Lucas inj cleaner thru it afterwards to flush out the really fine stuff that might have made it thru the filter and into your upper system.
