Horrible microphone?

Hey guys! I’ve heard complaints about how I sound when I’m in my 2020 trd off road however I was on the phone with my wife the other day and she took my truck to work. Wow is the microphone absolutely garbage. My two coworkers with a 2021 off road premium tech and a 2022 sport with the premium tech package and both of those sound like garbage too. I’ve done a little searching and haven’t found a fix. Is this something other people have noticed? Is there a fix or replacement anybody has found yet? I’ve tried different phone placements, Bluetooth/CarPlay, and speaking into different directions. Thanks in advance!

 

They all suck. I’ve never found a true work around.

 

Agree they suck. I don't have an answer.

 

Along with the crappy Bluetooth it rounds out the system.

 

Double check that when pairing your phone you went through the complete set-up.

For example the steps that learn your voice.
I also have the voice setting up to the max.
That’s done in the head-unit settings.
