Before I sold my t100 I had a CV boot open up, and grease got onto the engine a little bit and burnt off. It smelt SO bad. Could be something like that. Although something dying and burning grease don't really smell the same haha

sorry i havent been on in a while, ive had crazy work hours.. but im still having this smell. my brother in law thinks there is a leak in the tansfer case that might be giving off a smell, but not sure if that is giving off the smell or not.. this is just getting ridiculous.. i guess im going to have to take it into the dealership and get screwed over and pay alot more money than i need to..

btw, loving all the joke replies btw... just sayin

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
    Try shampooing the carpet, first.

I don't think there should be a large gap between the door glass and weather strip. I think it should rest against the glass.

Perhaps a new weather strip would fix the problem (after you get the mold out of the truck)

Not sure about 2nd gen, but on my 1st gen behind the cabin air filter is the blower. 3 or 4 torx from bottom and fan box comes off. That is where I have found nasty mouse turds and piss that stink up the truck bad!!
edit: have also pulled carpet out and power washed with disinfectant products. GL

I had a 07 VW GTI and a small black snake decided to wrap itself around my brake rotor and caliper in early spring for warmth. Driving it the next day killed it and it remained wrapped around the wheel for several weeks making a bad stink before i found out what was causingthe odor.

tail gate lock, rear view mirror bracket, hood hinge brackets, and the list grows.

At work we,not me I would never do this, but we would put a dead critter underneath the hated supervisors truck
