    We went about 2 years ago in November and the leaf change was still in full effect. I was kind of planning on doing this one again this year in November, but you could probably twist my arm to go in October instead.

    There was a time not to long ago that we could get a decent amt of people to show up for trail rides and meets in the upstate.
    Those times are gone. People moved, sold or traded vehicles, etc.
    I'm just going out to show support for another local club and enjoy an afternoon out on the trail.

    So I'm kind of thinking that I might take one or two of my kids (3 and 5 y/o) camping and do the hike to Turtleback Falls on the Chestnut Mountain side. There are primitive campsites near the trail head and that campsite that is along the river by the metal bridge.

    Do you know if anyone else has small kids and might be interested in camping Saturday night?
