ATVs = 4 wheelers and SxS... right?

I think SxS are considered UTVs where ATVs are like your regular 4-wheelers.

Oh, had to go back and look. I dunno, then. I called the WMA and got their VM, but didn't leave a message.

Mustergound is the road at the bad creek project owned by Duke Energy correct? I did alot of it last year in my wrangler and think my tacoma can handle it. How many miles of road are there to explore there? We went maybe 8 miles in and turned around.

    Correct.
    I think there's around 22 miles.
I think the huge clearing is bear camp 6.
That should be about 9 miles in.

We turned around at the huge clearing so that must have been camp 6.

That's the farthest I've made it in myself.
When I pulled in there and drove around the clearing a few times, I lost my bearings on which one of the 4 or 5 spurs I came in on.

It was near dark and man, I was about to shit my pants. Luckily, I picked the right spur to come out on.

Probably could go either day. I just need to spend one of them doing yard work.

Potentially hitting up Horsepasture on Saturday. Thought about Musterground but deciding to take it easy as I want to go see the views along Horsepasture and explore the offshoots- will be my first time.

Anyone who wants to join is welcome!

Aside from 4 or 5 overlooks including jumping off rock, it's relatively boring.
I've explored most of the offshoots and a couple are rutted out pretty bad but still fun.

I'd tag along but headed out of town for the holiday.

Thanks for the info! Good to know. If it’s a quick enough trip I’ll probably hit up muster after haha

Doing some work on my buddies Jeep on Friday (steering stabilizer, tie rod, etc.)

If that all gets done, which it should easily, we’ll head that way on Saturday!

Unfortunately Gorges State park still shows that Auger hole road is closed (the tough section of chestnut)
