OK it's going in on wed, I was originally told it takes a while to study your driving habit..
But now the sluggishness and slipping has been getting worse, when Cold this thing runs Perfect, pickup is good shifting most of the time is smooth and it's quiet.
After about a hundred miles and as soon as the temp needle goes past half way issues arise. Runs very rough to where the tach needle moves up and down 500rpm while standing, pickup drops off and the engine surges when taking off hard and the motor or trans gets very loud.
Now there is what I think is a slipping issue. I have videoed everything pretty good for the wed visit.

Do y'all think this is a slipping issue? It started a few weeks ago and is doing it more and more.

It’s a brand new truck. I’d take it back to my dealer and ask a service person to drive it with you.

I’d want any issues or concerns I had to be well documented in the event of a future warranty claim.

Are you saying it takes over 100 miles for the temp to get to normal? I didn't see any issues in the video posted unless you aren't touching the gas pedal at all.

With such a new truck I’d get it looked at and documented. My ‘23 runs and drives like a beaut for me

It takes about 75 to a hundred miles before it acts up. I have other videos of the rpms going between 500 and a 1000 while at a light as well.
If ya watch the video at the 12 sec mark or so the rpms just jump up, I am on the gas at that time, I have ro leave off for the trans to catch up with the motor.

    Video doesn't work for me.
It sounds like you may be overheating, the needle shouldn't hardly ever go past halfway and not for long.

When the needle goes even a smidge past half way it acts up.

Went back to dealership today and I feel they didn't believe a word I said. They wouldn't even look at the half dozen videos I have of the rough idle, the vehicle nearly stalling or the loud noise when it gets hotter and so on.
Bottom line is they said I drive like an old man(LOL), in so many words.
They were able to look up my driving habits and said I only drove aggressively a hand full of times in 4 months and the mech. walked away mid conversation. The woman checked me out filling the paper work filled me in. She told me when I come in for my 5,000 service if it's still doing it they will look further.

I would take it to a different Toyota dealer (if another dealership is not too far away).

If you are being treated this way by the dealer you bought the truck from, I can’t imagine being treated worse by other dealers.
