I certainly was not offended!

For 25 yrs I was a soldier certainly experienced many episodes of the guys.
Damn I gave guys in my section a ride into Quebec City since I was the only one who had CUCV.
I didn't want them to get into trouble & honestly I didn't want to get called out at 4 am by the SDO.
My only request was not to talk in the vehicle afterwards about their escapades since some participants were not necessarily without a ring if you know what I mean.
If anyone would to call me on it, I would have to tell the truth so no talking!

I posted because it was totally a noob thread & the fact the dude said women & trucks do not go together (kinda derpy but hey he is intitled to his opinion). I would say anything more than that.

Now it seems it got into a whole different level.

From what I've seen on TW the women here are fairly gracious about letting boys be boys. I'm more annoyed by the occasional post that women shouldn't be driving trucks than by anything else here. But I'm the one making my truck payments so his opinion, which he is 100% allowed to have, isn't really my problem anyway.

Besides, I work on oil drilling rigs. I go weeks at a time around men, and some pretty rough ones at that. You couldn't offend me if you tried.

I do not know Judy or Beth personally...

but, from the interaction I have had with them (and seen) on this forum...I'm quite sure both ladies can hold their own. And both have shown maturity and respect not all that common nowadays...especially on the interwebs.

Any man should be proud to have either of them part of any discussion here.

I would say the pics are posted fairly frequently. But it's not like anyone is making me read those threads or forcing me to be here. The Internet is awesome that way: if you don't like what a site has to offer, just move on down the road.

But the flip side of that is the gentlemen here can't be offended by the suggestion that we return the favor in kind.
