    Random question. I had a rattling sound under my drivers side dash (long story short somehow my kid got a dang toy up in there.) Anyways I was reaching into get it and touched a silver line that was very hot. A little context, the truck was running at normal operating temp and the AC was on. Is it supposed to be that way? Thanks.

    It's one of the pipes going/coming from the heater core.

    Yes, these truck don’t utilize a heater control valve.
    They always have hot coolant going to the heater core.
    It’s normal, I wouldn’t worry about it.
