what are the two big trucks at the top?

The monster trucks, .....USA one and Bigfoot. They are the mid eighties

 

The 3 vw bugs below them are the first 3 cars my parents ever got me when I was a year old.....in 1974, they are tonka

 

The Porsche 911 GT1-98 was an amazing car in real life and the diecast tribute is no slouch either. The Champion Motorsports team from Florida campaigned in the American Le Mans Series as well as an all out assault on the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Mattel backed their play by making a replica of their car in a few different variations.

And of course I had to have at least one custom polished to add to my collection.

What caught my eye right away was the Marina Blue Chevelle with the black top.
My best friend has a "real one". It's a'68 SS in that color combination.

Oh we're doing Matchboxes too in here? OK I have 124 total of Matchboxes from '63-'73 again from my childhood. These photos show some of those as well as some Johnny Lightnings, and the cars inside the cases within the display are limited one-run Matchbox hotrods from the late 90s.

Thanks williams63! No, that's a "Fire Chief" Ford and its mate is the cop version in white. The only Matchbox I have with the driver and dog in the back is the green M.G. 1100 in the pic below (hadda go digging into the giant carbox for that one to show ya


I have a ton more put away I should put in here-they're super old and pretty cool.

 

I don't have any of the cars from when I was a kid but I did have a lot. thought I remember a ford like that with the dog in the back seat. anyway that one is pretty cool.

 

Now that I have them out, here's a few more. Some buses..the two smaller London Trolleys are late 50s and '61

Matchbox made a nice Harley too!

And anyone remember Hot Wheels "Sizzlers"? The one I still have is rough-they had some kind of oil or grease inside and it migrated out all over the car when I ran it and wrecked the stickers-don't recall what they said. This one's from 1970

 

I think that one is a 69......here is my real 68 though
