Oh, nothing in particular. I only recently stumbled across a picture of one the other day and thought it looked good.

 

Juan here’s that 69 I have. Don’t know if this was a repaint or not but you can see where they cut the base to fit the bigger real riders on.

 

Oh I like that. I can sand and paint it like mine too. Is there something of mine you’d like

 

I like all of them actually!! Thanks for offering but I’m good. I have a couple of others I can’t get to right now because of some work being done on the house my rooms are piled up for a bit.

Hot wheels rock when I was a kid Schuco Models was my thing. These days you can not afford to collect them any longer I have seen the original plastic ones going anywhere from 300 to 3000.00 depends on condition of the model.

I gotta post up my Toyota’s.........I gotta say, they are pretty badass.

 

I just stumbled across this thread and saw some of the modded tacoma trucks...I am sure I'll be buying one to mod.

 

I actually did. I had an extra life guard one like you have. I then bought a monster truck 1/64. I disassembled both, paint the taco white (like mine) and made it resemble mine the best I could.....with a monster truck twist. I hadn’t finished it, lost interest, and just threw it away in the trash while cleaning off my work bench. Now I’m regretting it cuz it was coming along pretty badass.

 

I also did a real sweet first gen 4Runner. I dremmeled off the top of the 4Runner to simulate the removable top being off. I grinded the edges nice and smooth like it was actually made that way. I then found a Jeep with a plastic roll bar, took it off, and glued it to the 4Runner. Those had a roll bar Incase you are unaware. I did the same thing with the monster truck look. I didn’t finish that one either and pitched it.......I’m an idiot.

 

Here’s one I’m on the look out for. I have it loose with out the bag and header card. If you come across it let me know. Card and bag look like the blue ones at the bottom.

 

I’m also looking for the pink version of this convention bug. I have only seen it once for sale on eBay but was out bid. 30th annual Hot Wheels convention.
