Always wanted a Vega when I was younger but ended up with a Chevette

 

Remembered this post going through my nerd stuff today. Thinking it's from the '80's? Pin holes on the corners, but still in really good shape. They just don't make these cardboard advertisements much anymore. Would really like to frame someday. Thought you might like it.

I missed out on that one too. I did get some of his other customs I will post throughout the week.

 

One of his customs. 1 6/4 engine swap, added real riders, interior from a vw, windshield from another car, headlights from another, grill from a matchbox, don’t remember what car the inside of the bed is from, and if you look close you can see where he moved the front axel forward.

 

One more for today. Hot Wheels 61 Impala. Lowered and added real riders, cut the hood for a blower and exhaust out the fenders.

This is one of my favorites. I think it was a American Graffiti model release from 10-12 years ago. I added a straight axle to it. Its a metal kit. I built it as a tribute to my neighbors car that I got to ride in several times when I was 7 or 8 back in 1969. It was very loud and my dad warned me and Leon to never let me ride in that car again when he found out.

 

Custom my buddy made. Hot Wheels 1/64. This was the way to fast car that originally had 2 motors up front. Scrap the front motor changed the back motor, added a blower to that motor, and exhaust from another car. Real riders and parachute out the back. Detailed with a little paint and added spark plug wires. And moon fuel tank .

Lets see what else I have to post. High Roller is a Henry J I built 5 or 6 years ago. The purple Willys is about as old. Im guessing but I have about 300 of these I have built over the years.

 

Damn those are sharp!

And the drag one he made for me. Wheels, engine, custom headers tucked inside the front wheel well. Wheelie bars, parachute, moon fuel tank, custom roll cage, paint and detailed. On my list of cars when I win the lottery!

It's a little rough, but I loved the Muppet Show as a kid. It being a van, Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem would have been better.
