Williams you snagged a damn smart woman! I think the white makes the cars more impressive. But you can switch to the red for those VW buses or beach bombs to add to the mod look

 

Yeah she did good. Now if I could just talk her into letting me hang up some car cases in the living room!

 

I'm afraid the living room thing is meant for the unmarried, Williams. Like me I have a hundred on display between three curio cabinets and two glass wall displays. But I live alone. When Rose and I finally move in together I imagine most of these will sit in boxes in our garage.

 

I know, just wishful thinking. Maybe when the kids move out I will have a room like RLMOODY.

 

Here’s one that doesn’t come up for sale often. Still like to find this one with real riders. Not sure how many they made but I have never seen it for sale.

Williams did I ever tell you about my neighbor who owns a '67 Bug? He's a Math professor at Lone Mountain Campus of UCSF. He looks like Father Christmas with long grey hair and beard and his Bug is all-original in sky blue. I'm sure even the suspension is original down to the shocks as this car sits way low to ground! Every morning when he takes off that poor motor sounds so loaded-up and when he parks it at night it wreaks of raw fuel. I know the guy has tons of money but he won't get a better car to save his life. Thinking about taking a pic of it and posting here.

 

No you didn’t but sounds cool. Most would’ve think it’s just the same as any other bug but 67 had a few features that were one year only.

I'm still kicking. Haven't had much time to to play on Tacoma World lately. I got laid off but am on call with my job and go in when they need me because of the "Corolla" virus. I run the docks for a tactical eye wear company. I am a artist for them as well.
What is keeping me busy is my automotive artwork. I write about and photograph vintage drag racing for a magazine and they use my artwork as well. You probably noticed my room has a lot of racing memorabilia from my involvement.
I still check out what you guys are posting.
I will attach a pictures of what I photograph and one of my drawings. Haven't had time to photograph any more of my collection lately. Sorry.

Be safe with the Corona Virus.
Ohio has lost 55 so far including 1 in my area today. People just don't get it with this thing. We have been under state lock down going on 2 weeks and I cant believe how many companies are staying open and people still walk around oblivious. We know 2 people who are sick from it. The one is getting better. The other is in the hospital. Nobody knows how they are. No visitors are aloud.

 

It's a real tragedy to say the very least. I could say a lot more but I like this thread a whole lot and want it to be here for the future.

 

I’m stil going into work, considered essential employee. My wife has always worked from home. Youngest daughter is doing online classes for high school and my oldest came home from college a few weeks ago. Little town of Fremont NH I live in has no confirmed cases yet but Mass has over 8k and moving into NH.

 

I’ll post some pics in a little bit. Take your minds off it. Love to see some old redlines if anybody has some.
