Aww shoot.... I've been collecting since before I was walking, since I had one in each hand and one in my mouth.

I'm an open collector I like to handle them and see them at different angles etc. I collect for my not money or anyone else.

Ideally when I own a home I'm going to line a wall in the house with a shadow box with sliding doors so I can veiw them and still pull them down.

    Last I knew, I had about 1,700, I'm pretty sure I'm over 2,000 now.

The craziest thing to me is, although I can't tell you all the ones I have, if I see one I know whether or not I have it and whether or not I have it in that paint.

My favorite ones have to be my Deora II treasure hunter, and my Hot Wheels factory painted Ironman Ivan MCI Toyota Trophy Truck.

I open all mine. I do have 8 unopened fast and furious cars from hot wheels that I didn’t have room for in those shadow boxes. I’ll probably be open to sell them if anyone is interested. These 3 Tonka bugs below I actually used to sleep with when I was a year old.

Some old corgi formula race cars. Blue and yellow are Maserati, green is Lotus and red is a Ferrari. If you move the guy in the yellow Maserati to the left or right the wheels turn in the same direction

I go to a few hot wheels shows and even some old toy shows. I only buy 1/64 but its hard not to buy some of these other scale sizes. I have no more room as it is.

I'd be more than happy to discuss taking an old formula car off your hands.

    Those look pretty special

I think those formula Gorgis are worth a lot. They sure capture the essence of classy toys back when I was little. I remember getting treated to a Corgi toy once a year at the Marshall Field store in downtown Chicago which I think is now Macy's. I think this place was 12-stories high and one of the floors, I think the 7th, was entirely toys! Funny thing here is, elevator door opens and right there in the front cases-Matchboxes and Corgis! Can you imagine-all the colors! And those Matchbox boxes stacked in turnstyles. It was, for a kid like me, like gazing upon metal candy!
