Can you think of a reason not to open them?

Every now and then I keep one in the package just for the art but other than that, liberate them.

Majority of mine are open but like tinker troy I do leave some of them in the package because of the art work. I have sold some in the past but that’s not why I buy them. Problem I have now is I have no more room to display them.

I only left a few in the package like my Hot Wheels Snake and Mongoose funny cars. The package adds value if you sell them but it will be years if not a few decades before most have any value. The special releases are different though.
Take them out and play with them. I have a friend who bought one of every Hot Wheel and in every color possible since the early 90s. He put them all in totes and now they sit because only some get any attention. I just shook my head at what he was doing. Buy the ones you like.

Two gasser bugs I want that are for sale on eBay. Did a real nice job on them but a little out of my price range.

Only putting this one on today. 65 Chevy Deluxe 1/24 scale. Did a lot of bare metal foil and paint on this. Nice truck for $15. Re did the side trim, grill area, side vent trim Diecastmodelwholesale.com has a red and white stock version that I will pick up next. They have several more color variations and even a Tonka Toy version of this truck. Check out their website. Awesome selection and reasonable prices. Quick service. Beats going to the swap meets that are still closed.die casts 101.jpg die casts 102.jpg die casts 102.jpg die casts 105.jpg

$250 for the green and $300 for the pink. would look great in my collection. Big fan of hot wheels vw bug, love anything gasser, love the customs and this has it all but trying to save money for the real bug.

Go for the real bug. They are nice but that is to much. I saw your display cases a few links back. Nice collection of VWs. I didn't know there were so many.
