Hot Wheels

One of my former coworkers father was a machinist and he loved building larger European model kits and he would machine all the intricate parts like threaded hubs to to mount the tires and roll up window mechanism's.
His son showed me one of his cars after he died knowing that I was into models and I was amazed. There is a lot of really neat stuff out there. I met a guy in Spartanburg SC who owned a hobby shop there and his skill level was over the top as well. His work is featured in Scale Modeler magazine all the time. I droll.

Recently stumbled upon a few nice ones. Always cool to have a toy of your actual car. If you guys want any Tomica check out the_toy_pimp on Instagram. Some of his prices are decent others aren’t and eBay is a better deal. That’s how I snagged the smaller Supra

Hot Wheels Wednesday Week 51!!!

 

Building bridges now I see. Cool idea.
My wife recently had me make miniature doors and windows to attach to the tree in front of our house and then put Gnomes around the tree. I wont post that. Kind of embarrassing but she likes it.

 

Going dirt track racing today with some of my 1/24s. The Falcon and Fairlane are both back from the junkyard. New paint jobs saved them. The 64 Galaxie is really neat and I recently built the GMC.
