More finds at Kroger. Had to dig deep down in the bin

Monogram 58 -60 Thunderbird. Kit was molded in pea green and looked so good that I just painted the roof white. Also added the wide white walls. Monogram 40 Plymouth was another Pro Street build. 64 Belvedere is a Lindburgh kit that I built stock except for a wheel swap.
Picked up 3 more kits today and that Celica Hot Wheel that I think Toyota Crawler posted recently at the swap meet in Canfield. From what I heard Covid took one of my long time model suppliers last fall.

 

Yeah! I don’t collect them or anything but I thought it was cool. It’s just on a bookshelf at my office lol

 

I smell a wheel swap coming...

 

HEB done good today. Great way to start a vaca in over a year.

AMT 67 Ford Fairlane that I tubbed. I think I have a light green one somewhere to match this car. The 70 Corvette is a dealership promo car. I picked up the pair still in their original boxes at an estate sale for $20. The other car is red. I was smiling all the way back to my car. They usually sell for around 75-100 each. The Falcon Ranchero Gasser is a Coca Cola AMT kit I picked up recently. There was a major amount of work that went into that kit. It was a plain Jane 6 cylinder. I bashed most of the parts from my "junk yard" and cut the blue tinted windows from bits and pieces of I had saved over the years.
We are currently just beginning to remodel the interior of my house and are putting down new carpet and wood floors so everything has to be boxed up for a month or two. What a project. My wife collects Raggedy Ann and Andy and I am finding out that she is worse than me with the stuff I keep finding I didn't know she had. At least I sell and trade my access inventory. I think I married a closet hoarder.

Johan 68 Tornado built out of the box.
68-72 Nova was also a box build with Trans Am Series racing wheels. Not sure why I did that but they look good on the car.
53 Ford Crestliner Gasser. Didn't come that way. Body is about only thing original from that kit. It has a 429 with injector stacks.
