I’m sure it did. You could throw a party in the trunk.....let alone the car! It was like a 4 door party bus

I looked up the '65 Lincoln Continental 4-door specs.
    length: 216"
    width: 79"
    wheelbase: 126"
curb weight: 5280lbs (convertible weighs 5677lbs.)
    engine: 430c.i. 4bbl v8 @ 325hp and 465lbft. torque
    0-60mph-9.7 secs.
    1/4 mile-17.6 secs.
    What a beast!

Another long time favorite is a 1970 Citroën DS-21 Pallas coupe. My mother had a burgundy colored one when I was a kid and we lived in Germany. It was like your favorite sofa chair with wheels and an ever changing view.

In retrospect, I’ve always been enamoured with the post war offerings from Citroën. When I lived in South Africa I bought a secondhand 2CV from a dodgy fellow and used that as my car and saved the company LandCruiser for work and long trips. Sold it to my neighbors daughter for something ridiculous like 20.00 ZAR (Sout African Rand) which at the time equaled about $1.75 USD. Still wish I had it because it got over 50mpg per gallon.

In Texas I helped a friend convert an old Citroën H van into a taco truck for he and his wife to do business out of. Now if you look up H vans, the majority of the sites are in the UK selling them restored-ish and converted into food trucks.

    Tonight's additions.
First one's a '71 Camaro 1:64 by Matchbox-got bored one day and painted in the head/taillights and bumpers

Next is a '50 Chevy 3100 pickup by Racing Champions

Childhood Matchbox Mercedes Unimog pickup and hay trailer in 1:64

and a couple more childhood Matchbox trailers 1:64

Ever see cars in the 1:90 scale? Tiny! Here's a BMW 507 by Schuco Piccolo. Made in Germany

For perspective I put it next to these 1:64 Caddys

and these two very slick '69 Sedan Devilles are nicely done by Matchbox.
