Stole this picture from the GA Tacoma Owners BS Thread. Might have to make this for Christmas.

    Late November 2021 update.
    • Bought a new case (12-position)
    • Pulled the following out of storage
      • Maisto 1999 Ford Mustang GT
      • Bburago 1999 Chevy Corvette
      • Bburago 1997 Dodge Viper GTS Coupe
      • Maisto 1990 Ferrari 348 TS
      • Tonka / Polistil Lamborghini Countach 5000QV
    • Purchased (4) new cars
      • 2 Fast 2 Furious R34 Nissan Skyline - used from the UK, bought "as-is" and arrived with a broken spoiler and some other minor damage. Repaired the spoiler (and got glue on it in the process, buffed it out)
      • 2 Fast 2 Furious Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution - NIB
      • Jouef Evolution Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo - based on the Kyosho 300ZX but less detail and thus worth less on the second-hand market. Someone had a go at detailing this to match the Kyosho but also did some of the body gaps which is interesting but also well, interesting. I had missed out on a Kyosho I should have bought but didn't so I bought this as a way to make myself feel better (and overpaid)
      • Kyosho Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo - Since the detailing on the Jouef was interesting I decided to throw a bid in on a cheap Kyosho and actually won it. I'm a bit bummed as the condition wasn't as good as I had hoped since the hood prop rod had popped out of the hood at some point in its' life and as a result chipped the edges of the hood. Unfortunately due to model fit the hood sits proud a small bit and you can see the chips. It displays well, but given the price, I wish it looked a bit better. I'm super excited about the increases in detailing on the body, interior and underhood.
    • Put the following into storage:
      • Ertl 1969 Ford/Shelby GT500 Convertible
      • Bburago 1992 Dodge Viper RT-10
      • Bburago Ferrari 288 GTO
So without further ado, here's the current case situation:

My office - the "favorites" (minus the new Zs and my DeLoreans)

[IMG]IMG_9668 by Mike M, on Flickr

    The cellar

The foreign car case (and KITT)
[IMG]IMG_0273 by Mike M, on Flickr

    The American car case
[IMG]IMG_0274 by Mike M, on Flickr

    The overflow
[IMG]IMG_0272 by Mike M, on Flickr

As far as what's left ahead in the future, I'm undecided. I really would like to finish out the Fast and Furious cars, but at ~$100-150 per, I just don't know if I like them that much to actually do it. The Slap Jacks' Supra would be neat to have, but I feel like I'd also need Orange Julius's RX-7. Those trade in the $100-150 range per car. There's actually a Slap Jack on Ebay right now for $80 + $40 shipping I'm thinking about putting an offer in on to see, but who knows. The (2) S2000s from Part 1 / Part 2 are more of a "complete the set" type cars, but again averaging $150 a car is a lot of money to spend for something I'm not head over heels for. I really would like the Kyosho Supra and the Kyosho RX-7, but I've never seen either one of those in undamaged condition (not talking a chip in the paint, but like damaged glass or wrecked paint) sell for under $150-200 a car and that's too rich for my blood unless I actually owned the car. I'd likely pay $150 for a Supra, but I'd have to find one first. The last one that got listed on Ebay was $750.

The problem is that puts me into getting an additional (12) car case to replace my (6) car case and I'm running out of area to do it. My wife rolls her eyes each time another box shows up. I didn't even plan on winning the yellow Z, but no one bid on the auction for the entirety and I bid $4.00 over the opening bid under a "it would be cool to win" deal.

I bought the Johnny Lightning version of this from @MikeyMcFly . Then saw the pics he posted of the Hot Wheels version and I wanted that one too. Much more detail. I don’t have both like he does but will soon. ( I hope ) this is the Monte Carlo version.

I don’t want to fully open it of all the packaging because I don’t really have a place for it right now. Buying a case to put them in means buying more cars to fill it. You know how it goes

Do what I did and sell the JL to offset the cost!

Or do what I did and tell yourself you’re selling the “bad one” (my silver Z) to offset the “good one” (my yellow Z) and then keep them both instead.

That is one of those that i will kick myself later for not buying. Really liked the trailer.

    Anyway, onward and upward...

Found this nice rubber tire C10 with opening hood.

I don't usually go for import cars but this Nissan Silvia I couldn't pass up. The white wheels sucked me in.
