Are they all pretty much the same size card? Going through mine and there are a lot of different size protectors. I think the one that would work best is the one Hot Wheels makes. One that works but I don’t like is called Protecto-Pak. Looking for my extras looks like I only have one and looks like you need a few.

No name brand on the left and hot wheels on the right. The hot wheels is embossed on the back.

Protector-Pak. Theses ones are not as a clear protector to me and can’t see the card as nice.

Don’t know where they got them but I also have a few small ones that came with a few custom cards I bought awhile back. Hot Wheels on the left no name little one on the right.

Hope I don’t get in trouble for this one. I will delete it if it bothers anyone.

The majority of my collection is open. I keep in the package the ones that have nice artwork on the card. I would like to find some protectors that fit the Johnny Lightning cars.

Going to go with 4 Wheel drive today. The Toyota Hilux is a new build snap together model kit that I recently completed. You can find it in the Hobby Lobby stores. Very easy to build, I made some changes like flipping the axles to give me the needed lift to get those tires and wheels to fit. Those came off some generic car crushers 1/64 scale called Moto Works or something like that. I got those at Drug Mart for $4, Pulled the wheels and pitched the rest.
I used them again on the 65 Chevy pickup 4x4. That one is a extensively reworked 1/24 die cast I picked up off diecastmodelswholesale.com I removed the brush guard, winch, roll bars, sliders, spare tire in the bed and added to the details that were missing. It also had larger tires and black wheels that I didn't care for which I chromed for a future project, I just wanted the truck to be uncluttered and really like the way it turned out.
I currently have a die cast 1 / 24 scale 59 Anglia project going that originally was a Lucky Charms Cereal car with Lucky the Leprechaun. I left Lucky alone but he will be riding in a Gasser with a 429 sticking out where the hood used to be. Its got slicks and a straight axle under the front of it. Ive also seen this car in the Harry Potter movies.

Cool collection of vintage diecasts. I have the silver Corvette funny car and the blue with flames version of the old Ford behind it. The one I really like is that blue Wagonaire and camper combo. Studebaker came up with a retractable roof for the Lark Station wagons back in 63-64 I think.

Hot Wheels Bug Rod. This one came with a matching bus but I don’t collect the buses anymore so I found this one loose.

I have the bugs too and several others maybe 12 or 15. Those were all over the place 15-20 years ago. They were pretty well done.

Went for an XC ski today and stopped at a rural grocery store for a snack on the way home. Just happened to see the Hotwheels rack out of the corner of my eye. Wasn't even looking. Found some awesome stuff.

Two Land Rovers, three Toyotas, and a Bronco! Even left some cool stuff behind.

Well if anybody is sitting on some of those 56 BelAir’s please message me if you’re interested in selling. Used is fine, I’m taking the paint off and repainting them for a memorial for my father in law.

For that matter if any of you customize these (I don’t, this is the only time I’ve ever done this) and have some links to places that sell things like different wheels, please let me know!

Jada made some nice version of the BelAirs in a 1/24 scale also.
