Found a couple more of these today




Along with a couple of fire trucks and other cool things.

 

These are 1/24 model kits that I had built 7 or 8 years ago. The Sox and Martin 67 GTX is one of 3 of those cars that I have. I always thought the GTX was a great looking car. The Jungle Jim Liberman Vega funny car was a lucky find. The only thing missing is Jungle Pam. These were correct builds with no mods which I often like to do.

 

I pick up the special releases from the collectors club, super treasure hunt muscle cars

 

That GTX is pretty cool.

 

Hot Wheels custom Bone shaker. Roof was chopped off and custom windshield and roll bar added. Front grill and headlights from a 34 Ford, nice fat and skinny real riders added and custom made exhaust pipes.

 

Seeing people asking big money for these on eBay. Even on TW. These will be in stores soon as long as the scalpers don’t buy them all up.

Going to stop by m Walmart in the morning before work. See if they stocked the shelves yet. If I see any of these Tacoma’s I’m going to pick up a few for you guys that are looking for one.

We all need to move to Iowa. They dont seem to have any supply chain issues there.

 

This is a restock after months of empty shelves just like everywhere else. Two Walmarts in town. Last week one was sorta stocked and this one empty. Now it's reversed!

 

I stopped at the Walmart up here this morning and they didn’t have anything.

Started to use the Plano 5324...car lot was taking over the livingroom table.
24 compartments, can hang on the wall if so inclined.
$10 over on ZORO.
...not as cool as the custom wood stuff a couple of you have made.

And this cast iron model-T my grandparents had, thought it was really old but i think i may have MBX older.
Has been collecting dust over my counter for the last 20 years.

 

I was meaning to ask.
Is there a good way to get the plastic "bubble" over the car, off the cardboard/art card without killing the cardboard/art part?

I have been cutting as close as i can without damaging the pictures, but there is allways that plastic that peals off the paper parts.

Some of these cards are cool.

 

Use a little bit of rubbing alcohol/acetone with a qtip on the back of the card where the bubble would be stuck on from the other side, it'll slowly let go. Just don't apply too much or the card will get wavy.

I don’t usually collect this size scale 1/24. But love the look of it and the price was right. might have to buy the other one in red.

Still looking for Toyotas but can’t find much

 

Finally found a Tacoma. Found a cool Land Cruiser too.

Still on the hunt for the 4Runner for now.

 

I tried 99% isopropyl and Acetone, to pull the plastic bubble off the cardboard card... not so good.
Guess i will try that nailpolish remover next.
