There’s one I don’t have! Looks like I might stop at Walmart on the way home.

I scored big time today and never left the sight of my house. We are having our annual neighborhood yard sale this weekend. The neighbor across the street had a 1/24 diecast Budweiser 36 Chevrolet box truck I scarfed for $5. It is missing a mirror which I may have in my parts boxes and had a scratch on the cargo roof which can be repainted. Otherwise very nice. My brother-in-law showed up with a tote full of Hot Wheels he picked up at an auction. I pulled out 14 Hot Wheels with the Real Rider wheels I am looking for. He sold the remaining 20 or so to another guy a couple hours later. That same guy offered me a package deal on all of 1/64 Nascar pieces that I have been wanting gone for years. To finally see them gone I took it. I did hide the ones that still have some value. Hell with Walmart and the vultures. Yard sales are where it's at around here.

I have that truck as a regular HW and I've seen it in a 9 pack too both without the door logo. That would be a cool project to pull off to recreate that whole scene with all the cars and boxes

56 Ford F100 1/24 scale die-cast from M2. Just dont care for the decals on this truck but liked everything else. I used lacquer thinner to remove the decals which also included the black trim on the hood. I took it apart and painted the undercarriage recessed areas and bare metal foiled the exhaust. I added a few pieces of missing trim and installed spark plug wires and a stainless bed floor and inner fenders. Thought about making a wood floor with wood stirring sticks and stain. Maybe. The 74 Maverick is a 1/24 diecast that has had a wheel swap and additional details added like a black washed grill. Was a little disappointed in the factory paint job but it wasn't bad enough to repaint. The Honda CRZ was a Japanese 1/24 model kit I originally built as a race car with decals all over it. While prepping the body for a repaint I kind of liked the way the paint was thinning out and decided to leave it as is for now. The Land Cruiser is the same one everyone has been posting lately with several details added and all the decals removed. Also painted the muddy tires.
