Hot Wheels

Well I hope you're going to stick with this one-it's THE iconic Chevy muscle car. I like Novas and the older Chevy lls too. My fav amongst yours is that blue SS.

 

I am keeping this one. It’s my favorite year in my favorite color (pearl white) this will be my last muscle car. I do regret a little selling the 65. That was a badass car. The blue 71 was a 327 4 spd Muncie

Mail call, here we go. For a pair of cool error cars that I’ll show you as well as a few others that are helping to fill the collection.



The next one is interesting. There is a wvidence of it being dropped on the factory floor and stuffed back in the tampo machine a second time. I’ve come to the conclusion due to the paint chips found on the front left and right rear corners as well as the double tampos on the side.



The next one has a rear axle with the wrong wheels. And the back left side has a wheel that is jammed into the fender well unable to move. The axle isn’t even in the right place and it’s forcing a warp in the base.

 

Now that's pretty interesting! Factory blems might lend uniqueness to those cars and up their value! I know this has happened with Matchbox and a few Hotwheels back in the day.

 

I have a few error cars and really appreciate having them. I don’t know what more they are worth but I really like them.

 

I only have one of the hundreds of cars/trucks etc. that I guess wouldn't be considered an error car, but was the very first and only run in 1965, of Matchbox's Lincoln Continental with NO trailer hitch in the rear bumper. I was 4 when I got this one and as is horribly evident, I played the shit out of it but it's apparently worth something based upon being sans hitch.

My only error car. Came in a few colors with a 5 spoke or ten spoke wheel. This one has both somehow.

 

It's says why on the box "mexico"
