There are literally hundreds of automotive artists out there. With that being work done for the NHRA I would think it would be Steve Sanford or Kenny Youngblood, but it doesn't look like either of their works. I am a fan of both of them. I have met dozens of artists while doing art shows at various tracks, swap meets, and car shows since 2008. There are some amazing artists out there that are unknown. My success was limited to where I live. I can show up at any track between Cleveland, Pittsburgh and Columbus and be asked to draw people's cars, but nobody knows me outside of this area. I suspect that artist maybe the same in Oregon.

 

Good morning...here are my weekend finds...actually just on Saturday...Dollar General and Wally Mart. The Super Chase was at the Dollar General hiding in the Middle and out of site. Happy about that find. Those are the finds I show my wife which allows me to keep going LoL. All others were from Wally Mart, and I was surprised the shelf was full to include many cars on the flat bottom shelf all stacked neatly. *Christmas is coming as most of the shelves were overflowing. The floors at Ross were littered with toys as well but there are normally no individual Matchbox or Hot Wheels there, but they do have random Maisto cars.

My friend made this for me. Hot Wheels custom Chevette. When I was younger I had a 76 Chevette. I bought a 3.8 V6 out of a totaled Grand National and me and him stuffed it in there. Fun little car. Got in a lot of trouble with it. Couldn’t get the turbo to fit so replaced it with Edelbrock intake and carb.

 

I don’t remember where I got the green one. I just broke down and bought the silver Cyberpunk one on eBay.

It’s Johnny’s Porsche from the game, it’s a pretty good replica.

So i have question on these hot wheels cars, do they just come out at random? Ive been watching a few stores and seems like they sell a lot or quickly rotated out. What was there a week ago isnt what was there today.

 

A few of them I’ve actually bought from Safeway when I do the groceries like the gray 80 series land cruiser.

I also bought the matchbox Tacoma from Safeway.

I bought a blue FJ45 pick up from a Walmart outside of Martinez.

 

The Walmart near me has very little of anything and with Christmas coming I’m sure they will have even less.
