Hot Wheels

I know, but I was conflicted as I had my wife with me and it was a "quick peek at cars" I promised...I weighed my options...snapped a photo...cried a little and left. It's just a car right? "-) Happy wife/happy life. 30 years coming this January!

Question: Does the actual case/cardboard box scan that the cars come in? I thought I had to individually grab cars out to scan...I would have done that if I would have known.? At least I will in the future!

 

No idea what happens if you scan the case.. never had the opportunity.

 

I will ask the guys at the next hot wheels show. They raffle off an unopened box of hot wheels every show. I’ve never seen a box in the store but I would love to try and buy one.

 

Here are some Christmas stocking stuffers I got for my kids. The older ones will get the Tacoma replicas and will be excited to have toy versions of “daddy’s truck.” My two toddlers will get the Ram trucks because I couldn’t find more Tacomas at the store and they’re too young to tell the difference. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The other cars will be shared among them.

 

This is daily at any spot near me. Pretty common sight. lol

Obviously has no place to display them in his house.
I wonder how many accidents he caused with people looking to see if they can find something they need for their collections.
I'm glad he doesn't live near be or id be in a ditch.

 

The other day I saw a short video of someone's basement that was built for trains.. displays on the walls and then a huge track system covering the entire floor. Kinda gave me the idea to build a table in my basement.. perhaps some sort of diorama / display on the table top itself and then drawers underneath to hold "extra" HWs. - Thoughts? Ideas? Concerns? I'm thinking likely a 4x8 foot table top.

 

If you have the room I say do it. I want to set up some kind of drag strip someday, but I don’t really have the space for that.

 

I do have the space.. just not the complete picture in my head yet LOL

 

Well today I will send you some ideas of a hot wheels room.
